20th Anniversary
2008 is a big year for the Flyers as we celebrate 20 years of enthusiasm and local running. Here is a flavour of what to expect:

This will make for a busy year but our main aim will be to celebrate and have fun.

Proms in the Park 2nd August 2008 |

As part of the clubs 20th year anniversary celebration we are considering a group outing this year’s Proms in the Park at Bedford Park on 2nd August 2008. Previous headliners include G4 and Russell Watson – The main event is still to be confirmed for this year. If you are not familiar it is an afternoon/evening outdoor music event with picnic's as elaborate as you care to make them, anything from a egg mayo sandwiches and a cup of tea on a tartan rug on the ground to tablecloths, candelabras, lanterns and champagne.... They are offering the club a special discount of £23.00 for tickets booked before 6th May 2008 or £28.50 thereafter, children are welcome - cost £15.00 per ticket. Depending on the level of interest you can either book direct using a special promotional code or if the numbers are manageable I shall co-ordinate the entries to reduce any potential booking fees.
